Bad news for fans of George Lopez—all six of you—as it turns on the late night talk show host and perennially unfunny comedian (and I’m using the work “comedian” very loosely) has been fired by TBS, and his talk show, the cleverly titled Lopez Tonight, cancelled.

Apparently, it doesn’t take much to land a role in Transformers 3 (we’re looking at you Rosie Huntington-Whiteley), so Oscar winner Ben Kingsley decided to bring his F-game to his audition for the sequel. And by “F-game,” we mean there’s literally no effort being put into his performance and it’s HILARIOUS! The actor shot a short skit for George Lopez’s talk show “Lopez Tonight” where he poked fun at reality star Heidi Montag and her recent audition for the movie. Take a look…

A theatrical trailer has been released for the upcoming live action adaption of Marmaduke, and I feel guilty for saying this, but it’s hilarious. It’s funny in the campiest way imaginable. It stars Owen Wilson as the voice of the title character and Lee Pace (“Pushing Daisies“) and Judy Greer as the couple he drives insane. Check out the slap stick comedy below…

We should have seen this coming. I actually saw George Lopez on TV cracking a joke about Speedy Gonzales the other day and here he is about to play him in a movie. Oh, the irony. Even though the casting might sound pitch perfect something tells me this film will be a live action, animated assault on our eyes.

I vaguely remember reading an article about the upcoming animated feature Marmaduke. The film is based on the popular comic strip character of the same name that was originally created by Brad Anderson. The film will be a mix of CGI and live action following in the footsteps of Alvin and the Chipmunks and Garfield. The newly announced cast features everyone from a British comedian to a Black Eye Pea, find out who’ll be behind the scenes of Marmaduke.
