He channels his inner Steve McQueen and plays a man on a deadly mission for revenge. Nothing and no one will get between him and his targets. It’s just him, an old school car, a revolver, and the unlucky suckers who have targets on their backs.

Today (November 24) Dwayne Johnson will return to the action genre with his latest film Faster. The movie centers on a newly released prisoner who’s hellbent on tracking down and executing the men responsible for his brother’s death. There are a lot of shoot outs and car chases and in a rare feat in modern day cinema, there’s not CGI! All the action is real. This was something that director George Tillman Jr. was adamant about doing. Faster has a low-key, late sixties, early seventies vibe to it and it works in the film’s favor because it’s such a departure from the norm.

The professional wrestler turned actor dishes out old cold blooded justice in the movie directed by George Tillman Jr. that features Johnson as a man of few words who’s out for revenge. Earlier this week, (yesterday to be exact) the first trailer was released for George Tillman Jr.’s action flick, Faster. The film stars Dwayne Johnson as an ex-con hellbent on revenge who doesn’t care whose ass he has to kick or kill to get justice. There’s nothing really original about the premise, and the trailer wasn’t that ground breaking but they’ve taken it a step too far.
