Fame! I’m gonna live forever! I dare you to think of the hit movie and not have that song swell in your head. It’s beyond infectious. Perhaps that’s why the film is being remade for today’s audiences. The 1980 version of Fame was an awarding winning spectacle best known for it’s breakout star Irene Cara, and self-titled theme. It even spawned a TV series that featured Janet Jackson.

The remake will be released by United Artists this fall, and features many familiar faces from film and television. View some photos of the new cast below.
