The White streak continues! Just proof that if you wait around long enough, you can be successful too! Your 80′s is really the peak, but if you make it into your 90′s you’re unstoppable. Since Betty White‘s only 88 years-old, she’s on her way to winning an EGOT if she keeps going!
This past Saturday, at the Creative Arts Emmys Ceremony, which is precursor to the Emmy‘s (the main show) it was announced that Betty White has officially won an Emmy Award for best guest actress in a comedy series for her turn as “Saturday Night Live” host. In two years, it’ll be time for her Oscar!

“True Blood” is everywhere you look! The guilty pleasure is irresistible to fans and this year’s 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards. I guess it’s not really a surprise seeing as they have one of the most popular shows on TV right now.
The paranormal couple Sookie and Bill, who often happen to be real life husband and wife Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have agreed to present together the Emmy’s. Of course where would they be without the sexual tension of a friendly threesome like they were on the cover of Rolling Stones magazine? Alexander Skarsgard will also be presenting with the duo, because three supernatural beings are better than two! And it’s clear that fans are either team naked-Eric or team brooding-Bill.

Early this morning the nominees for the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced and guess who’s leading the pack? The Fox musical “Glee” received an astounding 19 nominations followed by the AMC drama “Mad Men” with 12 including Best Drama, Best Actor (Jon Hamm) and Best Actress for January Jones. For its heart-wrenching final season “Lost” also received a nod for Best Drama and so did HBO’s “True Blood” even though the show always seems to make us laugh more than cry.
