The nice thing about being Steven Spielberg is that if you’ve got a film scheduled for release in December, you’re already considered one of – if not the – front runner for the Oscars. Such is his War Horse, which stars relative newcomer Jeremy Irvine along with Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Emily Watson and David Thewlis. This buzz is also based on the trailer, and now there’s a poster. Check it out…
Over the past few weeks there’s been speculation regarding Steven Spielberg’s latest project, War Horse. There were rumors that British actor Eddie Redmayne had landed the lead, and Tom Hiddleston and Stephen Graham were in negotiations to co-star. Empire is reporting that the assumptions were partially true with Hiddleston and Graham but Redmayne not so much. Check out the full cast for War Horse…
Cold Souls, starring Paul Giamatti, Emily Watson, and David Strathairn is a film by first time feature writer/director Sophie Barthes, which tells the story of how to save your soul… just put it in a freezer! In a world where people will do anything in order to de-stress themselves, soul removal is the next step in medical services.
The film is one of the first truly ORIGINAL ideas that we’ve seen on screen for a long time and Barthes is definitely a filmmaker to watch out for!

Charlie Kaufman, the visual genius behind the brilliant scripts “Being John Malkovich”, “Adaptation”, and “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” has created another amazing film starring none other that Philip Seymour Hoffman, Samantha Morton, Michelle Williams, Catherine Keener, Emily Watson, Dianne Wiest, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Hope Davis, and Tom Noonan. The only problem… no one seems to be able to pronounce the title… SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK.
