Summit Entertainment is pulling a 20th Century Fox and re-releasing their biggest cash cow in theaters. Their latest installment in the The Twilight Saga entitled Eclipse, earned $298.8 million domestically and $372.8 million internationally bringing its grand total to $672 million overall. Obviously that wasn’t enough for the studio because they’re breaking it out one last time for a very special occasion — Bella’s birthday.

Unfortunately, one of the tickets bought to support the film belonged to a young man who met his demise during one of its many screenings. According to THR, watching the twitch-fest that is Kristen Stewart and the dry delivery of Taylor Lautner killed someone…literally.

The 4th of July weekend is officially here and it’s already gone to the wolves…and vampires. The highly anticipated The Twilight Saga Eclipse opened in theaters on Wednesday to record breaking numbers. The third installment in the popular franchise has been described as the best film in the series and features a grief-stricken Victoria out for blood, Bella’s blood! There’s also the M. Night Shyamalan adaptation of the Nickelodeon series The Last Airbender about a young boy with the power to control the elements (water, air, fire, and earth).

The film already broke the record for having the highest midnight opening with 30 million dollars and now its earned another substantial amount in its first 24 hours. According to Coming Soon, Eclipse raked in $68.5 million, but still didn’t manage to beat its predecessor.

Here we are, Twitards.  I noticed in the last couple of days that it’s been getting a lot more humid, then I realized that the new Twilight movie, Eclipse,  is coming out this week. Makes sense. Hopefully there will be less moisture in the air after the weekend passes. What? I’m just talking about the weather. Most of you who want to see the movie are probably already in line, or have been for the past year or so. As for the rest of us, Summit is still trying to suck those who don’t give two shi(p)s about the movie into theaters on opening weekend. They release these things called “trailers” that give us a “preview” of what we would see if we were to buy tickets to their piece of art.

Eclipse marks the third time that the Twilight series will grace intelligent movie lovers with its presence. Since movies release multiple trailers, we chose to use the last and final trailer that is released before the movie comes out. Let’s take a look at which of the three had the best trailer, shall we?

Twilight is back with Eclipse! Breaking box office records, making young girls wait in line at midnight and scream at a pitch that only wolves can hear. I”m not a Twi-Hard, this is not my favorite genre, BUT I will say that out of all the Twilight films this one is the best. It has more action, more tension, better character development, and unlike the previous films a story to follow. That being said, it’s still a Twilight film.
