The Twilight series wastes no time. They are like the daytime television of the cinema. With New Moon not that far behind us (feels like it was only last November – oh wait…), Summit already has a new 10 second clip from the soon to be released Eclipse trailer to show you and it’s full of all your favorite characters and a whole lot of drama!
Beware, if you are in the vicinity of any Twi-hards, you may want to back away from the computer for the first 6 hours that this clip is online. They have been known to cause serious harm or even death to those who try to prevent them from seeing new footage of Rob Pattison saying something painfully dramatic, Taylor Lautner with his shirt off trying to defend Bella, Kristen Stewart (yet again) torn about what to do and looking completely overcome, and some shots of pine trees from up above (why do they always have that shot in every film?)…

At a recent press conference for Kristen Stewart‘s latest indie flick, The Yellow Handkerchief, also starring Maria Bello and William Hurt, we squeezed a little extra juice out of the actress regarding her upcoming projects. Stewart recently exploded into prominence after her multi-million dollar success with Stephanie Meyers’ Twilight intoxicated teenage girls all over the universe. We’ve already heard rumors that it will appear on the DVD release of New Moon, and now its theatrical debut has been confirmed. SORRY FOLKS!!!! We just got this message from Summit:
Hey Mali -
I wanted to see if we could we pull these Eclipse images? They were leaks and the Summit legal team has actually been pursuing their removal wherever they pop up.
I did ask if there were any that we could keep even a few but they told us….
they’re all leaks… they were from our unit photography so they look official, but someone hacked into the system to get them. A big investigation on Summit’s end to find out who did it.
Out of respect for Summit and not wanting to promote any leaked material, we have pulled the pictures for the time being (I’m sure they’ll be back soon though when they ACTUALLY release them). You can however check out another photo we have of Bella climbing all over Edward, Stewart and Pattinson talking about Eclipse, our interview (with audio) with Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, a clip of Pattinson making out in the shower in his film Remember Me, and of course, a the ton of Eclipse news that we have for you.

Today it was announced that the third film in the vampire franchise will debut in both conventional and IMAX theaters when in drops next summer.
