D.J. Caruso is best known for directing his successful back to back thrillers Disturbia and Eagle Eye. Both films debuted at number one, and were headlined by current golden boy, Shia LaBeouf. According to Variety, Caruso will add his twisted touch to a well known children’s classic that’s being adapted for an older audience. The director has been tapped to helm Jack the Giant Killer.
