Director Neill Blomkamp and producer Peter Jackson’s collaboration District 9 just keeps getting better and better. Above is a still shot from the new TV clip, which is featured below. This clip doesn’t add much to the the plot-line that we already know — non-humans or aliens stuck on earth and being “contained” in a slum like area while we figure out that to do — we get a number of new amazing shots as well as a few more details into what’s really going on in District-9.

Set for release on August 19th, the latest trailer gives us a better look a the film’s storyline.

The new District 9 poster is here and it’s better than any we have seen. Apparently, Sony decided that it was time to wow us right before the new trailer debuted in this week in theaters before Bruno. Sure the new poster shows a desolate city with an enormous spaceship over it, but it’s the center piece that completes the poster– “No Humans Allowed,” outlined in red.

You have the option of either playing it as a MNU Officer on patrol in District 9 and arrest or shoot non-human, or play as a non-human and take action against the MNU’s patrolling guards by sneaking through the slums and collecting valuable alien fuel canisters, according to Comingsoon.
