Yet another press conference we attended at Comic-Con was for director Karyn Kusama’s upcoming horror film written by Oscar winner Diablo Cody, Jennifer’s Body starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. Kusama, Cody, Fox, and producer Jason Reitman were all in attendance and eager to promote their zany new film. Fox admits to not being a horror film fan, in fact the last horror film she saw was in 2001 and while having to do ADR for this film she managed to scare herself. Cody on the other hand seems to be proud on her jump from Academy Award winner to over the top horror film writer and doesn’t seem to be scared away by much of anything.

This entire week has been filled with promos for Karyn Kusama’s horror comedy, Jennifer’s Body. Yesterday we premiered the green band trailer for the film, and now a new poster has debuted. It features Megan Fox in a school girls uniform with high heels, and a devilish look on her face. This photo reminds us all that “She’s evil…. and not just high school evil.”

It’s here– the red band trailer for Karyn Kusama‘s teen horror film Jennifer’s Body, written by the one and only Diablo Cody. According to Slashfilm, the trailer was suppose to wait until July 10th, where it would debut during the opening previews of Bruno, but 20th Century Fox decided to treat us, and just released the red band trailer, calling it a “filmmaker’s cut” which they think “captures the comedy and scares of the horror films we grew up on.” Personally, I don’t remember growing up watching a hot girl feed off boys, but this is for sure, the trailer is something else.

Will we be seeing Megan Fox topless in the Diablo Cody-scripted horror film Jennifer’s Body? According to /Film 20th Century Fox has officially given the film an R-rating for “sexuality, bloody violence, language and brief drug us.”
Jennifer’s Body is a new horror film directed by Karyn Kusama starring Fox and Amanda Seyfried. The story is about a cheerleader who turns serial-killer who eats her male classmates while her best friend (Seyfried) attempts to kill her.

Now that Transformers ROTF is out of the way, Megan Fox can begin promoting her much talked about film, Jennifer’s Body. It’s a horror flick written by Oscar winning Juno scribe, Diablo Cody. The film stars Fox alongside Amanda Seyfried as two high school girls who are more than meets the eye (no pun intended). Over at FilmSchoolRejects, they’ve debuted a few scans from the film along with a quote from Cody who tells us how she made the switch from comedy to horror.

Academy Award winning screenwriter Diablo Cody has got a new project on the horizon, and I’m not talking about the Megan Fox movie, Jennifer’s Body. According to /Film, Cody wont be writing, but instead producing the adaptation of Breathers: A Zombie’s Lament. The screenwriter on call for this film is Geoff LaTulippe, a relative unknown who has been a studio script reader for years. He recently sold a spec script entitled Going the Distance, but it looks as if this will be the writers first big break. Continue Reading
