The film was written by Diablo Cody, and also features Patrick Wilson and Patton Oswalt. The film is scheduled for release on December 16th, which means that it’s definitely going for some Oscars. According to Deadline, the film will feature Charlize Theron dealing with love, loss, and more loss.
Oscar winning screenwriter Diablo Cody has a new gig and it will reunite her with the producers from the critically acclaimed film, Juno. The creative partners from the 2007 feature will join her on Young Adult, Cody’s latest screenplay that was recently optioned by Mandate Pictures.

According to THR, Oscar winner Diablo Cody will adapt the books for the silver screen. Universal Pictures is in negotiations to gain the rights to the property, and if all goes well Cody will bring the characters to life.
Jennifer’s Body is the sophomore feature film from Oscar winning screenwriter Diablo Cody. It takes us into the world of teenage angst driven by sex, obsession, and mostly regret. The film is advertised as a dark comedy, that oozes sex appeal thanks to it’s leading lady, Transformers star Megan Fox. Jennifer’s Body capitalizes on old school horror thematics from the seventies and eighties to add a campy element to this contemporary tale.
A new international poster has been released for this fall’s Jennifer’s Body. It premiered over at the Spanish language site Aullidos, and in a cheap attempt at humor I have to say it’s “muy caliente.” The film stars Megan Fox, and features her doing what she’s known for, being a maneater.
