Meet the man behind your favorite franchise, Harry Potter. Yes a film is about it’s actors and director, but they would be no where without a producer to push the off the ground and keep things running, especially with a franchise as big as this one. This coming Monday, July 13th at 7:00pm Harry Potter Producer David Heyman will be appearing at the Apple Store on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica to talk about the film. Heyman has worked with J.K Rowling on every single Harry Potter film adaptation. If anyone can answer your questions, it will be this guy!
He will be joined by LA Times entertainment writer and Hero Complex blogger Geoff Boucher, who will be able to add further insight from a very different perspective on the film.

Above is a photo of Frank Dillane as the teenage Tom Riddle in the upcoming Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince film (I’m still bitter it wasn’t released over Thanksgiving. It goes so well with stuffing). The producer of the Harry Potter film series David Heyman spoke with USA today about what we could all expect in the sixth film. He said that although there will plenty of special effects to enjoy, this film more than any others, will focus on the characters relationships with one another.
Plus, all the youngin’s suddenly have a new goal and it has nothing to do with Quidditch. They will be introducing love interests to all of the characters. As long as it doesn’t get too Twilight-y I’m sure it will rock. Continue Reading

Collider talked to producers Richard D. Zanuck and David Heyman about Tim Burton’s upcoming project. He even managed to get Zanuck on camera (video below) revealing some pretty awesome information about Burton’s next project. According to Zanuck, Burton has finally decided to tackle Dark Shadows. They are set to start shooting in London next summer after Alice in Wonderland is done. And Burton won’t be moving on to his next project alone. He’ll be taking good friend Johnny Depp with him (how many films can that guy do at once? Yesterday he just got news about him taking on Dante).
