There were a lot of new appearances including Kick-Ass and his sidekick Hit Girl but for the most part folks kept it old school. The cast and creators of The CW hit “Supernatural” appeared at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con including creator Eric Kripke. Kripke decided to step down from the show after the 5th season but explained to the audience in attendance that he still plans on being involved with the production. He along with Sera Gamble (who’s been on board since episode 1) talked about what we can expect from Sam and Dean during season 6. Here’s the rundown with video!!

Comic-Con 2010 premiered some of the first footage ever seen (though it looked much like the original footage) for the adaptation of the Swedish novel previously made into an acclaimed Swedish film, Let the Right One In. The American version by the name of Let Me In is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Chloe Moretz, Kodi Smitt-Mcphee, and Richard Jenkins, all of whom were in attendance at Comic-Con along with Simon Oakes, one of the producer’s of the movie and the head of Hammer Films.
Oakes has had to answer the same question many times, “why remake a movie that was so loved already?” He seemed to have a firm grasp on the answer, so lets begin with that and then find out the details on why this film could be more of a Hollywood success than its predecessor, despite its similarities and differences…

After months of waiting, we finally got to sit down and have a chat with the cast of Marvel’s next theatrical release, Thor. The film will be directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars Australian native Chris Hemsworth as the title character. He’s a relative newcomer who’ll be supported by several veteran actors like Anthony Hopkins who plays his father Odin. At the official Comic-Con press junket a lot of the main talent from the film were in attendance including Branagh, Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Clark Gregg, and even Marvel Chief Kevin Feige got in on the action. When the Comic-Con Marvel panel took place today, it featured the director and stars of Captain America: The First Avenger. Chris Evans, who plays the title role was on hand as well as Hugo Weaving who stars as the villain Red Skull, and Joe Johnston the director. They spoke about their vision for the superhero and what comic book runs they’ve pulled from to create his origin story. We also got confirmation regarding Caps suit and Red Skull’s mask.

Natalie Portman is a goddess at Comic-Con not only because of her role in Star Wars, but the comic adaptation V for Vendetta. She attended the official Thor Hall H panel and also took some time to talk to the press about her role in the superhero movie as well as a few other projects. I’m talking about the cult favorite Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the top secret Darren Aronofsky film Black Swan, the David Fincher adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon tattoo and possible Thor sequels.
