Yet another press conference we attended at Comic-Con was for director Karyn Kusama’s upcoming horror film written by Oscar winner Diablo Cody, Jennifer’s Body starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. Kusama, Cody, Fox, and producer Jason Reitman were all in attendance and eager to promote their zany new film. Fox admits to not being a horror film fan, in fact the last horror film she saw was in 2001 and while having to do ADR for this film she managed to scare herself. Cody on the other hand seems to be proud on her jump from Academy Award winner to over the top horror film writer and doesn’t seem to be scared away by much of anything.

***Update: If you need a refresher course on the ensembles we’ve previously showcased, check out the Comic-Con costumes from day 1. We also have a poll up which asks readers “Who had the best costume?“ Throw in your two cents and let us know who you think should win!
The greatest part of Comic-Con are all the crazy people with their crazy costumes. They really love to go all out, and the costumes were even better on Saturday! Here is a theory as to why the costumes were better and more abundant. First of all, most people don’t have to work today and there is the masquerade ball and costume contest this evening. Of all the nights to really bring out the big guns, tonight would be the night.

1:33: ..and they’re off! They’ve just wrapped up the panel and walked off the stage.
1:32: They’re discussing their influences that include Mr. Show and Kids in the Hall. I loved that show!!
1:30: They confirmed that even though they’ve done this movie they will still continue with their sketch shows online. They will also continue traveling and doing live sketch comedy in clubs and whatnot.
1:28: They just took a jab at the cast of Lost. They said they’ve talked more about Lost than the cast of Lost did at their panel. So true! Those guys gave no info!
1:25: The cast discusses their improv background. They trained at the UCB Comedy Club in New York, but they didn’t do a lot of improv in the film because they didn’t have the time or money to do so.

***Update: We also have video of director Jon Favreau introducing the cast to the panel.
Well, Comic-Con is officially coming to an end. However, we still have lots of stuff for you to check out from this crazy weekend. The Iron Man 2 panel yesterday was in such high demand, and there were so many people that were shut out of Hall H at the convention center. They missed out on a pretty awesome trailer, but you can read about it in our first look and watch our sweded video that we made last night.
Anyways back to the point, we were able to get in and record the panel discussion and fan questions for you! The panel had a large portion of the cast, including Robert Downey Jr., Sam Rockwell, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, and the director, Jon Favreau. They talked about Mickey Rourke, the tone of the new film, how close they stayed to the stories, and answered other fan questions.
In case you are interested, you may want to check out our live blog from the Iron Man 2 panel, Jon Favreau talking about a possible Avengers movie, and our coverage from the other Robert Downey Jr. movie, Sherlock Holmes.

As we begin to say goodbye to Comic-Con we bring you one of our favorite videos from the convention yet. Yesterday, we were all blown away by the Iron Man 2 footage, and because we weren’t allowed to show you guys any of it, we decided to get some convention goers and journalists to re-enact the clips for you.
You HAVE to see this…

At the Iron Man 2 Comic-Con panel, a fan asked director, Jon Favreau about the possibility of him directing the upcoming Avengers movie. He didn’t give enough information to hint towards the possibility, but he did mention that they are fostering the idea, so we will see how that unfolds.

Kevin Smith had one of the most entertaining panels at this year’s Comic-Con. The best part was a particular rant about Twilight. For all you Twilight fans out there, he didn’t say anything bad about it, he’s actually all for the franchise! In the other videos, he goes on all sorts of random rants, answers various questions from the audience, and even lets you know what he would do if he were Elizabeth Banks for a day.
Check out the videos from Kevin Smith’s panel below… Continue Reading
