So much goodness so little time! Below are some amazingly fun stories from around the web that you have to read…
- How much more attention can Sascha Baron Cohen or Bruno get from his MTV Movie Awards stunt (watch video)? Sascha is now being sued by a paralyzed old lady for his characters actions. Her claims of what happened are outrageous, she is suing the star of the movie for unspecified damages, including “loss of marital relations.” Sascha can thank Ms. Olson when his movie opens up number one at the box office because of the publicity she is getting him with this. Find out more at FilmDrunk
- A good director is just as important to make a hit movie as are the actors in it. That said, here are 5 directors that make any movie go bad. Surprisingly, some of the directors that made the cut have movies that were a financial/mainstream success (McG, Brett Ratner). Check out the list at unrealitymag
- There are some things from your childhood that are sacred and should be left alone. For example, recently it was announced that Bazooka Joe and Where’s Waldo will be turned into movies. As a result YepYep made a list of “Things From Your Childhood That Don’t Need A Movie” category. Check out it on YepYep
- In honor of the news that 20th Century Fox intends to remake/reboot the Alien Franchise, unrealitymag is paying homage to the sci-fi classics with images of the gorgeous Alien artwork. You can say what you want about the movies, the artwork is just wonderful. There are a couple of the photos, but for more go to unrealitymag…

I can’t believe people are even debating whether or not the “Bruno Vs. Eminem Video” of Sacha Baron Cohen falling onto Eminem’s face was real or not. Do you really think that was an accident? Do you really think MTV would let such a “mistake” happen!
Although it’s ridiculous that I’m even writing this, I felt like I had to say something… Continue Reading

I can just imagine the pitch meeting for Sacha Baron Cohen sitting down with the studios to decide to put his balls in Eminem’s face…
“Sacha we want you to promote your movie Bruno at the MTV Movie Awards, got any ideas?”
“I want to fly into the award and put my junk on someones face.”
“Let’s see, who needs some shameless promoting? How about Eminem?”
“I’ll wear my g-string.”

I know that, we just posted photos for Bruno, but more Bruno news broke and we thought you might be interested. SlashFilm just announced that Sacha Baron Cohen‘s newest, quite possibly most obscene film, Brüno, has received an R rating from the MPAA, after showing a revised cut. The initial showing of the movie received an NC-17 rating; not ideal for marketing or money-making.

I really love Sacha Baron Cohen. He really does have a unique and innovative take on comedy. The highly anticipated follow up to his Golden Globe winning film Borat is entitled Bruno, and like it’s predecessor its been getting a lot of buzz due to its risky content. According to /Film, the MPAA ratings board slapped the initial edit of the movie with an NC-17 rating. Even though Cohen and his crew are in the process of re-cutting the film to get an R, they’re still trying to appeal the original NC -17 decision. Sharon Waxman who reported on the MPAA’s behalf stated several key scenes that lead to their final rating.

Sacha Baron Cohen, best known for playing the heavily-accented, strange reporter from Kazakhstan, Borat, is returning to the big screen with another one of his characters. This time, it’s Bruno, the gay Austrian fashion show presenter. Mr. Baron Cohen has been up to his old candid tricks, such as showing up, as Bruno, at a Proposition 8 rally and at the catwalk during an Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada fashion show in Milan.
According to the Risky Business Blog, the first footage of the film was screened at SXSW. The mockumentary is scheduled to be out on July 10 of this year. A lot of the early hype is saying that Bruno makes Borat look like child’s play; expect something even more obscene and wild than 2 naked men running through a hotel and wrestling in the upcoming film. Sacha Baron Cohen made a brief appearance, albeit on screen in a pre-taped segment, at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas, on Sunday night. Speaking in an exaggerated, upper-crust British accent, Baron was shown sitting in front of an editing bay as he welcomed the audience to view three scenes from Bruno.
