Is Brian Blessed Thor’s Dad?

In recent weeks we’ve had two major casting developments for Marvel’s live action adaptation of Thor. Australian born Chris Hemsworth will play the Norse god, while British actor Tom Hiddleston will play his evil brother, Loki. With a dysfunctional family of this caliber many were wondering who would be cast as Odin, the father of the troubled twosome? According to Screenrant, there is speculation that veteran stage actor Brian Blessed my be in the running for the part.
