The Black Panther is back! The Marvel superhero has had a film adaptation slide in and out of development for years and it looks like the studio is finally buckling down to make it. According to a report on THR, Marvel has hired a writer to pen a movie about the African King who moonlights as a superhero.

One of the many comic book characters awaiting their big screen debut is the Black Panther. The Marvel comic property has been rumored as a developing live action adaptation for what seems like an eternity. Over at IGN, they spoke to G.I Joe: Rise of Cobra star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje about the speculation that he could be the one to bring this superhero to life.
