The third installment is called The Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son and as you might expect, this time it’s personal. Lawrence is joined by Tropic Thunder alum Brandon T. Last year we learned that 20th Century Fox and Regency had plans to turn the Martin Lawrence comedy series into a trilogy when they hired a screenwriter. Now we’re hearing a new casting and story development that has to do with Tropic Thunder’s Brandon T. Jackson.

Who the hell thought this was a good idea? I will never understand the obsession with Big Momma’s House. I saw the first movie, and I didn’t think it was that great. The original made money, so the studio made a sequel, and now we’re in that boat all over again! According to Empire, a third Big Momma’s House is in the works, and Martin Lawrence will once again put on his fat suit and curly wig.
