Oliver Stone‘s Savages feels like a comeback. Maybe it is, in that it’s a comeback into mainstream cinema. His last film was a sequel to Wall Street, and that film has already been lost to time. This is a big crime-filled ensemble drama/action movie, and it looks like a winner (mostly). The film is due out July 6, and features Benicio Del Toro, Blake Lively, Aaron Johnson, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, Salma Hayek and John Travolta. And now we have a trailer.

Everyone seems to have a sick obsession with professional hitmen these days. But not just any kind of hitmen, hitmen who work specifically for the mob (not free agents). Case in point, it was just announced that Michael Shannon will play the lead role in a drama called The Iceman, which is based on the actual life of a mob contract-killer named Richard Kuklinski. We’ve also learned that he’ll be joined my Benicio del Toro and James Franco.

Oscar winner Benicio del Toro will appear on the big screen starting tomorrow in his latest flick, The Wolfman. It’s directed by Joe Johnston and is a remake of the classic 1941 original from Universal. This film could have been an amazing revamp of its predecessor but the excessive violence and unnecessary bloodshed ruins it all.

Oh Wolf Man, what will your fate be? At the moment it seems to be undetermined. People don’t know whether to love you or loath you. They’ve definitely cut out the haunting, subtle feel that the first trailer had and went for a much more in your face action trailer. I’m guessing this one is aimed at all the teens out their they’re hoping to rope in.
