Well, Batman fans, the truth you were dreading—but also more than likely expecting—has finally come.  The details concerning the special features for The Dark Knight Rises blu-ray have been released and, well, it may not be what you had hoped for.

While it leaves out a lot of specificities—will there be a commentary track, will there even be a sliver of deleted scenes, etc—Warner Bros. announced the release date of The Dark Knight Rises’ Blu-Ray and DVD via their YouTube account today.  No press release, no breakdown of special content—just a trailer and a release date.

Christopher Nolan has said he's done with Batman. He's been saying it for a while. And even though The Dark Knight Rises is closing in on a Billion dollar worldwide gross, it's unlikely he'll be swayed.
