If only it could still be April 1 and this be considered some kind of sick April Fool’s Day gag on the part of a cruel and indifferent universe: Ashton Kutcher, he of the trucker hats, Punk’d, and Two and a Half Men, the actor whose best career work is limited to That ‘70s Show, will be portraying Steve Jobs in an upcoming biopic. That’s right—the guy who replaced Charlie Sheen and somehow (though many thought this wouldn’t be possible) made Two and a Half Men even worse, will be playing a guy who changed the world. You win, universe, you win.

Apple‘s new fancy gadget, the iPad, isn’t so fancy after all. According to THR, Hollywood executives were hoping that the sexy new tablet would be a game changer for film and TV studios, but it will take a lot more than an iPad (which is similar to a laptop and e-reader) to revolutionize the industry. After all of the hype surrounding the device, people in Hollywood are a bit disappointed.

Apparently Jeff Bridges wasn’t just busy acting on the set of Iron Man, he was also busy shooting it. From early production meetings, to wardrobe tests, and setting up shots, Bridges was busy photographing the making of the film. And truth be told, he’s not bad! Many of the shots are incredibly well composed.
Is this the start of a new profession for Bridges? Maybe the first step towards directing?
