Anton Yelchin appeared in two of this summer’s most anticipated films Star Trek and Terminator Salvation. After co-starring in such massive franchise hits, what’s a young actor to do? According to Empire, Yelchin has signed on for a role in Oscar winner Jodie Foster’s upcoming feature, The Beaver. The project will have Foster pulling double duty as both a director and a co-star.
This is quite possibly one of the biggest cast of directors and actors out there. New York, I Love You is a combination of 12 short films that take place in New York. The film follows (or rather pays omage to) the style of Paris, Je T’Aime. Each film has a different director, different actors, but they all come together in one way; they are about finding love in New York.
The film includes a series of short films directed by Jian Wen, Mira Nair, Brett Ratner, Allen Hughes, Shekhar Khapur, Natalie Portman, Fatih Akin, Joshua Marston and Randy Balsmyer. The film’s ensemble cast includes actors from all different genres including: Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha, Andy Garcia, Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson, Natalie Portman, Irrfan Khan, Emilie Ohana, Orlando Bloom, Christina Ricci, Maggie Q, Ethan Hawke, Anton Yelchin, James Caan, Olivia Thilrlby, Blake Lively, Drea de Matteo, Julie Christie, John Hurt, Shia LaBeouf, Ugur Yucel, Taylor Geare, Carlos Acosta, Jacinda Barrett, Shu Qi, Burt Young, Chris Cooper, Robin Wright Penn, Eva Ammuri, Eli Wallach and Cloris Leachman.

Isn’t that a bad ass image of a Terminator skeleton? It just makes you think of the film’s long standing mythology and you get even more amped for Terminator Salvation’s release! If one photo does that how about 11 more? That’s right! I scoured the net and found a fresh batch of production stills promoting the long awaited feature. The photos feature Christian Bale, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, and Michael Ironside. Terminator Salvation will be released on May 21, so we’ve got another two weeks until we see the sequel in action.Until then the following photos should quench your thirst for visual destruction.

Is Chris Pine becoming the go to guy for portraying iconic characters? He stars as a young James T. Kirk in this summer’s Star Trek and according to LatinoReview we may see him in another fanboy favorite. Rumors have been swirling about who will star as the lead in the comic book adaptation, Green Lantern. I’ve heard everything from Ryan Gosling to Anton Yelchin, and now Chris Pine can be added to that list. I haven’t been taking most of these reports too seriously but according to a close source Pine has a legitimate chance at landing the coveted role.
Paramount just released the latest trailer for this summer’s upcoming prequel, Star Trek. If your one of the lucky ones who’ve already seen Watchmen, the trailer debuts in front of the film. In my opinion this one is a lot better than the first. You get to see a lot more footage, and gain some insight into how Kirk became the captain of the Enterprise. The thing I like the most is how they change the image of Spock. I wasn’t a fan of the angry version they showed the first time around. It just threw me off.

Over the weekend I came across the latest posters and production stills from this summer’s Terminator Salvation. Over the weekend the new Star Trek trailer was released before Quantum of Solace and we posted a fairly crappy, boot-legged version of the film. Well now you don’t have to settle for less.
Looks like this one is sexier, more dramatic, and has MUCH bigger explosions.
