Wow! We’ve finally found a film that could possibly top Delgo! Out of 42 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes at the end of last week not ONE critic liked the new Sandra Bullock film All About Steve. As of the moment, there are 78 reviews, and it has managed to move up to a 5%. Someone must have felt bad for it and decided to save their tomato to throw at something else much less worth.

Sadly, unlike Delgo, the film was able to pull in $11,225,000 at the box office, mainly due to the fact that it has Sandra Bullock coming off The Proposal and Bradley Cooper off The Hangover. It’s okay, you all thought that maybe their might be some redeeming qualities to it. Hey it had some good actors in it, maybe they could save the day? Nope!

So what do the positive reviewers say about the film?

gamer steve and extract Box Office Predictions: Gamer Vs. Extract

As Labor Day peeks in, a number of films will be hitting theaters this three-day weekend, but who will bring in the big bucks and the number one spot? First up is Gamer, a high-concept action thriller set in the near future when gaming and entertainment clash into one. Sandra Bullock will keep the torch burning with her second romantic comedy (oh, sorry we’re not supposed to call it that, in which case I have no clue what to call it) this summer, All About Steve, which also stars The Hangovers Bradley Cooper. And humor takes form in Mike Judge’s Extract starring Jason Bateman.

Who will lead the pack? Let’s take a look…

All About Steve 09 9 3 All About Steve: Movie Review

Subjecting my brain cells to the appropriate level of thought required to write a review of  All About Steve is a task of massive effort. There are few cinematic experiences that I have zero interest in re-visiting. This is in my top five.  I’d like to assume that  Sandra Bullock, Bradley Cooper, and Thomas Haden Church (whom I adore), were victims in some sort of sick ploy to make the year’s most abominable feature film.

Here it goes…

allaboutstevepic1 All About Steve Interview: Bradley Cooper, Sandra Bullock, Thomas Haden Church

We recently hit up the press conference for the upcoming film, All About Steve, with comedians: Bradley Cooper, Sandra Bullock, and Thomas Haden Church. Bullock, who also produced the film, talked about creating the quirky, cruciverbalist (it’s a real word, look it up) character Mary Horowitz, her desire to maintain her childhood lisp, and her participation in a rom-com after she allegedly retired from the genre. Bradley and Thomas added a few deadpan interjections between her long winded answers…

Check out some of the highlights from the press conference below…

  • Guy Ritchie gives homeless man Emanuel (featured above) a role in his movie Sherlock Holmes.”Talent scouts spotted homeless Raymond Emanuel as he left a cinema where he had been sheltering from the cold. His distinguished looks created such an impression that he was asked to play an MP in Guy Ritchie’s movie of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s detective.” Lucky bastard. I mean, well done you! [The Mirror]
  • Josh Peck, the stoner kid from Wackness, says that he is involved in a passion project called Hearts of Men. “It’s a movie I read a year ago and fell in love with about three cats – one’s a white boy… They all witness the latino’s brother’s murder…The thing that draws them together is that they are all in love with Tupac.” Sounds, interesting.
