The official video has been released for Avril Lavigne’s lead track off the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack, Almost Alice. The song is entitled “Alice (Underground),” and was written by Lavigne and produced by Butch Walker. The music video is filled with clips from the film, and features Lavigne playing a punk version of the title character.

There’s no such thing as too much Johnny Depp, so we welcome this latest piece of promotion from his upcoming film, Alice in Wonderland. Every Wednesday until the week of its release, Disney will debut new behind the scenes footage and interviews from the Tim Burton adaptation. The latest video is an extended featurette that centers on Depp’s character the Mad Hatter, and be warned it shows new footage from the film that some of you might consider spoiler territory.

A few weeks ago Disney unveiled the tracklist for the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack, which includes every one from All American Rejects to Owl City. The generous people over at Disney have released some concept art designs and a short Mad Hatter clip from the Tim Burton adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland. The tracklisting for Alice in Wonderland‘s soundtrack just popped up on MySpace and people on twitter seem to be a bit pissed about what we already knew might be on it. The soundtrack will be titled “Almost Alice” and will be in stores on March 2nd with a video for the soundtrack’s first single, “Alice (Underground)” by Avril Lavigne,” is due in early February. Here’s what the people have to say:

_tlr_ : “Alice in Wonderland Soundtrack Revealed: Track listing includes Avril Lavigne, All Time Low and 3OH!3.” Wow myspace, that sounds awful.
