Alexis Bledel will go from “Gilmore Girls” to stone cold assassin for her latest flick, Violet and Daisy. We previously reported that Saoirse Ronan had been cast as one-half of the deadly duo and Variety has confirmed that Bledel is the other. The movie will mark the directorial debut of Oscar winning screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher.

Robert Redford isn’t playing any games with his upcoming period drama, The Conspirator. Earlier today, we brought you two photos from the set of the movie that began filming Monday in Georgia, as well as the casting announcement of Toby Kebbell as John Wilkes Booth. Now, according to Variety, three more actors have joined the cast, Oscar winner Kevin Kline, Tom Wilkinson, and former Gilmore Girl Alexis Bledel.
This weekend Alexis Bledel leads the way for the first time in Director Vicky Jenson’s new film romantic comedy Post Grad. The film is about young woman who has just graduated from college, and thinks she has everything, until she realizes she’s going to need a whole lot more to make it in the world.
Bledel is not your typical model turned actress, she seems to have a strong grasp of the amazing situation she’s in and the world around her. Although her role in the film may be a bit cliche, but her portrayal is anything but.
