It’s hard to know what to make of Battleship – the movie – even after the trailer. And that’s because it’s hard to call the board game (from which the film is derived) plot driven. It involves calling out numbers, which leads to hits and misses. Here there’s an intergalactic threat, and battleships. No on ei is currently calling out anything resembling numbers, but you know someone’s going to say it, someone’s got to say “you’ve sunk my battleship.” Peter Berg directs Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch and Brooklyn Decker, and the teaser’s here now. Check it out…

Did you enjoy the oh-so-palpable tension of last week’s episode of “True Blood?” Then you’re in luck: “I’m Alive And On Fire” only builds on all the drama and intrigue introduced in the first three episodes of the season. Once again, HBO serves up a tremendous episode chock full of everything that makes “True Blood” the sexy, funny, grip-the-edge-of-your-seat wild ride that it is. As long as the fourth season continues at this pace, you won’t hear too many complaints from me.

This week, “True Blood” is all about adjustment. We accompany Sookie as she comes to terms with all the changes in Bon Temps, although some are certainly easier to handle than others. While the season premiere offered a series of character-focused vignettes featuring the show’s protagonists in their new situations, this second episode drives forward with more of the juicy plot for which we’ve been waiting all these long months. HBO delivers the goods and then some, leaving this particular Truebie extremely satisfied.

Could the season four opener possibly measure up to all that? Well, read on to find out! (hint: the answer is yes.)

“True Blood” is everywhere you look! The guilty pleasure is irresistible to fans and this year’s 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards. I guess it’s not really a surprise seeing as they have one of the most popular shows on TV right now.
The paranormal couple Sookie and Bill, who often happen to be real life husband and wife Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have agreed to present together the Emmy’s. Of course where would they be without the sexual tension of a friendly threesome like they were on the cover of Rolling Stones magazine? Alexander Skarsgard will also be presenting with the duo, because three supernatural beings are better than two! And it’s clear that fans are either team naked-Eric or team brooding-Bill.

We think it’s fair to say that season 3 of “True Blood” has been the most violent yet. This week’s episode alone featured more carnage than three horror movies combined. In promotion of the vampire phenomenon three of its stars Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin, and Stephen Moyer will grace the cover of the September 2nd issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. They’re bloody, they’re buff, and oh yeah, they’re naked. Take a look at the full cover…
