You should forget everything you thought/read/heard about Aaron Sorkin‘s new film Facebook: The Movie or The Social Network, as it is more better known. The script has been described as good, funny even. Who better to describe the script then the writer himself:

I thought the Facebook movie deal had gone by the wayside, but I was wrong. Award winning writer Aaron Sorkin has been attached to the project for a while, and now rumors are surfacing that he may have found a director. According to EW, Oscar nominated director David Fincher (Seven, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) may be interested in bringing the film about the social networking site to life.

- Slap Shot, the 1977 sports comedy that starred the late Paul Newman is getting remade. Dean Parisot is set to direct the new version, which will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy. Some of Parisot’s previous work includes, Home Fries, Fun With Dick and Jane, and my personal favorite Galaxy Quest! [Variety]
- Horror extraordinaire John Carpenter has signed on to direct The Ward. A psychological thriller starring Pineapple Express alum, Amanda Heard. [THR]
