Avatar and Star Trek are two high profile films that debuted to plenty of fanfare in 2009. They made a boatload of money and now have highly anticipated sequels set for release in the near future. Besides commercial and critical success another thing both films share is actress Zoe Saldana. She played Lt. Uhura in Star Trek and Neyteri in Avatar, and when asked which sequel she thinks will come first she admitted that Star Trek’s in the lead.

The Losers will blast their way into theaters this spring and Warner Bros has just released six character banners featuring each of the film’s main characters. We’re talking Jeffery Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Columbus Short, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, and Oscar Jaenada. The film is directed by Sylvain White and is scheduled to hit theaters on April 23, 2010.

Six new photos have been released for the upcoming Warner Bros film, The Losers. It’s a live action adaptation of The DC/Vertigo comic of the same name and features an all star cast of badasses. As you can tell from the above photo, they’re not just pissed at the world, they’re also pissed at each other. The Losers is directed by Sylvain White, and stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the leader of a rag tag crew of military trained vigilanties.

We’ll be streaming the event for you below so that you can watch as the stars of the film Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, and many more walk the red carpet (or maybe it will be blue?) and talk about the film.

Somehow this new comedy managed to fly under my radar. Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence have teamed up to star in a remake of Death at a Funeral. The original film came out a couple of years ago and was directed by Frank Oz, and for some odd reason Rock and a group of his friends thought it would be a good idea to redo it.

There’s been a lot of negative talk about the amount of excessive CGI used in James Cameron‘s Avatar causing some people to be turned off by the whole thing. Over at Cinemablend, they found a photo that features the film’s stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana without their blue skin and beady eyes.
