One of the many (and we do mean MANY) characters in Fox’s upcoming X-Men prequel First Class will be Raven Darkholme aka Mystique. The shape-shifting mutant was previously played by Rebecca Romijn in the original trilogy, but in Matthew Vaughn’s version Jennifer Lawrence will fill those shoes. After the original X-Men Trilogy wrapped in 2006, two spin-offs were put into development: X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Magneto. Obviously, Wolverine has come and gone but Magneto hasn’t seen the light of day. The film, which would chronicle the rise of the supervillain has taken a backseat to another property, X-Men First Class.
