After a long and tedious wait, 20th Century Fox has released the trailer for their comic adaptation, X-Men: First Class. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn, who was previously hired to helm X-Men: The Last Stand but had to back out for personal reasons. Earlier this week, the internet was buzzing over a photo from director Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men First Class. The image featured the main characters, including the villains, wearing vintage costumes from the comic. This would have been a badass image to present to the public if executed correctly. The photo was a victim of bad airbrushing and photoshop, and Vaughn had no intention of releasing it. He recently spoke to the folks over at /Film, about the incident because he wants fans to know that he was just as surprised as us.
