For those who like playing Oscar pools, DGA nominations tend to be a good harbinger for the actual Oscar nominations. Owen Wilson will be the star of Woody Allen‘s next film. France’s First Lady (and former model), Carla Bruni-Sarkozy has mentioned that Allen persuaded her to take a role in the film, but because the writer/director wants to keep his upcoming project under the radar (it’s not even on IMDB yet), her role in the film is not confirmed. Shooting will begin this summer, and will most likely be released sometime next year.
