The official plot synopsis for Paramount’s next Transformers sequel has been released. Recently the subtitle for the film was announced as Transformers: The Dark of the Moon and it’s taken us a while to get used to because frankly it sounds kind of lame. In early September, the set of Transformers 3 was temporarily shut down because of an unexpected event. One of the many extras was seriously injured while sitting in her car during a stunt, a stunt gone terribly wrong. The victim, Gabriela Cedillo is now suing Paramount Pictures for negligence and expects them to pay up for not only the damage to her car but also to her head!

The cast and crew of Transformers 3 have spent the majority of the summer filming in the windy city of Chicago. Following in the footsteps of the previous two films, the sequel is expected to have plenty of explosions and high octane action scenes. Megan Fox may no longer be a part of the series but Michael Bay is sticking with the same Average Joe-hot girl format he started with her replacement Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. There’s a shot of the model-turned actress alongside Shia LaBeouf in a scene that has them running for their lives, and it looks like it was taken directly out of a previous Transformers film…
