Earlier this year we learned that Sony would be producing another sequel in their popular Men in Black series. It was revealed that the original cast and crew would return including Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, and director Barry Sonnenfeld but in most sequels they always have to infuse new blood. In this case that would be Josh Brolin, an actor who many fans worried would be taking Jones’ place.

At some point in Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger, Steve Rogers might be running for his life in a water tunnel and have to shout to the top of his lungs, “I didn’t kill my wife,” and at that point Tommy Lee Jones will shake his head and say, “I don’t care.” OK, maybe that’s not exactly how it will play out but it has been confirmed by Captain America star, Hayley Atwell that the Oscar winning actor has joined the cast of the comic adaptation.

Release dates are being announced every hour on the hour with the latest coming from Columbia Pictures. A date has finally been set for Men in Black 3 (in 3D) so expect to see Will Smith. Last year at the ShoWest Film Festival Sony announced they had plans to produce another sequel in their lucrative Men in Black series entitled, Men in Black 3D. At the time there was no definite word on if star Will Smith would return as Agent Jay or Tommy Lee Jones as his older, wiser partner Agent Kay but according to a recent report from Showbiz 411, both actors will be back to reprise their roles in the second sequel.
