The Walking Dead spoilers ahoy—be warned!
Fans who were paying attention to the Season Two finale of The Walking Dead would have noted—amidst the zombified chaos—the appearance of a mysterious cloaked figure with two zombie slaves and a katana blade, who arrived from the woods to rescue Andrea from a zombie attack. Readers of the original graphic novel recognized the character, and the most recent issue of Entertainment Weekly now has details on the character’s development in the upcoming season three.

When the wildly uneven second season of The Walking Dead came to a close last March, one of the surprise reveals was that of Michonne, a character from the graphic novel who wields a katana blade and two zombie slaves.
