This weekend attractive thieves and warriors will attack the box office with the help of a demon possessed teenager. Today, the heist film Takers opens nationwide and it stars Idris Elba and Paul Walker. It centers of a group of professional criminals who take on their biggest job yet at the insistence of one of their oldest enemies.
The Last Exorcism is the latest horror project produced by Eli Roth that stars Patrick Fabian and Ashley Bell in a documentary style feature that centers on a faithless preacher who tries to save a girl’s soul.

The Last Exorcism is the latest in a long list of movies about demon possession. The film is backed by horror producer Eli Roth, who’s known for pushing the boundaries of good taste for the sake of entertainment. Unfortunately, this film doesn’t push any envelopes or break any barriers, it’s just here. It’s just another exorcism flick to throw in with the huge batch that already clutter Hollywood’s film library.

One scary trailer and a physically impossible poster later, we get a little inside look at the clips coming up from director Daniel Stamm’s upcoming horror film, The Last Exorcism. What we gather from the clips is that this is openly a fake documentary (I think we had already guessed that though from the trailer and the fact that it was “directed”) about yet another poor young girl being taken over by the devil. Damn devil!
