A while back we reported that Transformers star Shia LaBeouf would star in the John Grisham adaptation, The Associate.  At the time there wasn’t a screenwriter attached to the project, but according to /Film that is no longer the case. Academy Award winning writer William Monahan has been a busy bee lately. He’s directing his debut film London Boulevard, which will star Keira Knightly and Colin Farrell this summer, and now he’s been tapped to adapt the latest Grisham novel.
