We’re going to be getting two competing Snow White pictures in 2012, in the summer there’s one starring Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron with a more grungy and battle-worn approach, but first there’s going to be Mirror Mirror in March. Tarsem Singh‘s latest The Immortals (Due November 11) follows in the footprints of Clash of the Titans by using the Greek Gods and semi-Gods as its protagonists. And with the posters listing only the producers of 300, they’re also trying to connect with that gigantic hit. For WonderCon, five character posters have been released, featuring future-Superman Henry Cavill as Theseus, Luke Evans as Zeus, Isabel Lucas as Athena, Kellan Lutz as Poseidon and Daniel Sharman as Aries. How many Snow White adaptations do we need? Apparently, one or two aren’t enough so we have a trio to choose from. There’s Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman, Disney’s Snow White and The Seven, and Snow White (formerly The Brothers Grimm: Snow White) over at Relativity. The latter studio has made some major headway by hiring Tarsem Singh to direct their feature.

Over the weekend Rogue Pictures released a few production stills from their upcoming Greek epic, Immortals. The film is directed by Indian helmer Tarsem Singh and features “The Tudors” Henry Cavill, Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke, and Slumdog Millionaire’s Freida Pinto. Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto has landed a new gig, and it will involve her interacting with the gods. According to Variety, the actress’ latest film will tackle subject matter that we’re all too familiar with, Greek Mythology. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief just hit theaters, in a month or so we’ll be able to check out Clash of the Titans, and Pinto will be a part of the upcoming, War of the Gods.
