With The Adventures of Tintin, Steven Spielberg has finally decided to play with some of the newest toys of cinema, and in his first motion capture film, he revolutionizes the format. Moreso than Avatar, here Spielberg is let loose to play with the camera as he sees fit, and you can see an invigorated director who’s able to stage sequences in ways that would be unimaginable in live action. Curious as to what, exactly, Daniel Day Lewis will look like as our nation’s 16th president in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming Abraham Lincoln biopic (the cleverly-titled Lincoln)? Just a week ago, we told you that Steven Spielberg and George Lucas were once again collaborating to defile our collective childhood dreams by making yet another Indiana Jones film, after already seriously tarnishing the franchise with Indiana Jones and This One Ridiculous Crystal Skull and Some Aliens. Set in World War I, it tells the story of a boy (Jeremy Irvine) and his horse, with the horse shipped off to war, only for the boy to chase after it. Some have called it Saving Mr. Ed, but with Spielberg’s touch it looks to be a powerhouse. Check out the trailer…

Well, since a classic movie like that has never, ever been made, Warner Bros. has decided to make Gods and Kings, an epic film about the life of Moses, to be possibly directed by Steven Spielberg.
