And the studios thought the critics were tough! We asked for your reviews of Skyline and you sent them in and didn’t hole back on your opinions. We’re pussycats compared to some of the reviews our readers sent in. One of my favorite critics was “…it is as cynically dismissive of plot propulsion and character development as a porn film.” Ouch! Some of you got extremely creative in your reasons as to why the film didn’t work, possibly more inventive than the film!

If there’s one thing everyone seems to agree on it’s no on it’s that you hated the film. Find out why in our reviews sent in from audience members below…

Calling all film buffs! We need your reviews for the new action, sci-fi thriller Skyline! For one reason or another (we’re trying not to judge) Universal decided NOT to screen the film for critics. Though this is often a bad sign we’re trying to remain positive (hell, they never screened Paranomal Activity for press and that one didn’t need us!), so we’re looking for YOUR reviews of the film to let us know if the film is any good! The photos, first look at Comic-Con and trailers were enough to impress us, but does the film follow through? Let us know!

skyline machine11 2 10 Skyline Viral Video Hits Local ATMs!

The sci-fi thriller Skyline hits theaters tonight at midnightand hopefully will live up to all the great hype that’s been surrounding it. The film is directed and produced by the Brothers Strause (Alien vs. Predator: Requiem), whose company Hydraulx provided visual effects for Avatar, 300 and Iron Man 2. Needless to say the film has a very high bar set for it in terms of visual effects.

As a little added bonus to the film, a viral video for was just released on the web. Check it out below…

skyline eric aaron11 2 10 New Skyline Photos More Reasons Not to Look Up

We were just sent over some new pictures from Universal Pictures upcoming action-adventure, sci-fi-flick, Skyline. The film is directed by Colin & Greg Strause, two special effects masters who decided to make their own film instead of just working on others. In the film strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth — gives a whole to meaning to the phrase “don’t look up”. The film stars Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, Brittany Daniel, David Zayas, and Scottie Thompson.

skyline trailer Skyline Trailer Dont Look Up...Seriously Dont!

If there’s one film that came out of Comic-Con 2010 as the little engine that could it was Skyline. The first teaser trailer is now online and you can see for yourself what all that hype is about. Take a look…

During Comic-Con 2010 we got our first look at Skyline — the new sci-fi thriller from brothers Colin and Greg Strause, and although the movie isn’t based on a comic book, it had one of the best panels at the convention.
