This weekend in theaters, Favreau is back with two grumpy, bad-asses, Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford with his latest genre twist, Cowboys & Aliens. The film is big and bad, with plenty of explosions and known faces, but it never quite delivered on anything I was hoping for. The biggest problem with this film is that it’s very much a Western, with alien bad-guys, that never really evokes the natural comedy that one would imagine should come with a film titled “Cowboys& Aliens”. Sam Rockwell is one of the most talented (and underrated) actors working today. He can do drama and comedy with the flip of a switch and after his heavy role in this fall’s Conviction, he needs a break. The actor has just signed on to co-star in the 20th Century Fox comedy The Sitter, which is headlined by our favorite curly haired actor, Jonah Hill.

Update: Watch video of Harrison Ford and the rest of the cast’s dramatic entrance for their Hall H panel
According to the Comic-Con rules, we at ScreenCrave could not record any of the footage Jon Favreau shared with us from his latest flick Cowboys and Aliens, but suffice it to say that it looked awesome! With writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, and the film’s enormously talented cast 0f actors, including Daniel Craig, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde, and Harrison Ford, this could prove that Favreau is the new king of the big budget action flick! Check out the description of the footage, after the jump…

The first trailer has been released for the Tony Goldwyn directed film Conviction, which stars Sam Rockwell and two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank. In the film they both bring their A-game along with really thick New England accents. The actors tackle some meaty and emotional material in what looks like an obvious awards season contender. Check it out…

It’s time! Iron Man 2 is about to hit theaters! Jon Favreau and Robert Downey Jr. are back with another installment in their witty, yet action packed franchise. There has been so much anticipation for this film since its trailer debuted (which we sweded) last summer at Comic-Con. The sequel is a solid follow up that comes through with everything you would anticipate from Iron Man, but don’t expect to walk out of the theater with the same “wow” feeling you had after the first film. This is a whole different beast…

In the first Iron Man, actress Leslie Bibb played a strong willed journalist from Vanity Fair Magazine who had a bone to pick with Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark. She was so appalled by his weapons business that she gave him a very strong talking to and then slept with him. How ironic (rolls eyes)? After that we thought we’d never see her again but she’s back for Iron Man 2 and it makes Tony very, very nervous. Check out her arrival as well as a sweet new IMAX poster…
