Hey, remember the movie Salt? It starred Angelina Jolie as a secret agent who was put under investigation by her own people because she may be a sleeper agent or something? It was written by Kurt Wimmer, and directed by Phillip Noyce, and played like a throwback to the heyday of mid-90′s action. Clancy-esque, reversals on reversals, it manages to make over $100 at the domestic box office, and now Sony has Wimmer writing a sequel, according to Deadline Hollywood.

All that, plus that M. Night Shyamalan‘s elevator movie that wasn’t directed by M. Night Shyamalan. How exciting?!

Come on, we’re all adults here at Comic-Con…well, except for the children…but they don’t count! But let’s be honest with each other, what was once the greatest party a nerd could attend has been hijacked by Hollywood so they can trot out whatever’s meant to be gobbled up by the 18-34 male demographic. But at least for the past few years it was to build hype for things that were still months away! Sony Pictures’ Salt opened the NIGHT of its panel! A couple of weeks ago we finally got to see Angelina Jolie in her latest action flick Salt, when a teaser trailer popped up online. Now, thanks to the folks over a Joblo, the movie’s first poster has been revealed and it’s kind of scary. It begs the question, “Who is Salt,” and none of us know, so we’ll have to go watch the movie to find out.
