We’ve heard so much about X-Men First Class that people have forgotten about 20th Century Fox’s other little spin-off, Deadpool. It’s no secret that Deadpool was one of the only good things to come out of Wolverine, which is why the studio green lit a film shortly after its release. According to The Playlist via Production Weekly, the studio wants Robert Rodriguez to direct their adaptation of the “Merc with a mouth.”

Yesterday we brought you an interview clip from Predators producer and director Robert Rodriguez and Nimrod Antal. Producer Robert Rodriguez and director Nimrod Antal both appear in a new featurette for their upcoming film Predators. The video is a little over 3 minutes long and during that short period of time they manage to answer a few burning questions. For example, they finally explain what compelled them to hire the skinny guy from The Pianist to play the lead character. They also discuss why they changed the movie’s setting and the differences between this film and its predecessors.
Because, if you’re like me, Robert Rodriguez’s Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over left you with so many unanswered questions (as in, dude, what’s happening to your career? Let’s huddle up and talk about this…) that you just HAD to have another film. Well, you can breathe a sigh of relief over the following: Film Junk is reporting that Rodriguez will continue his pattern of alternating cheesy fun trash flicks (the upcoming Predators and Machete) with yet another cheesy and not fun children’s film, Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World.
