Decisions, decisions, decisions. With so many great movies coming out this week, how do you know which one is worth watching? There’s Thor Freudenthal’s feel good comedy, Diary of a Wimpy Kid starring Zachary Gordon and Miguel Sapochnik’s action thriller, Repo Men starring Jude Law and Forest Whitaker.
There’s also the predictable romantic comedy The Bounty Hunter, which pretty much gives you the full story from beginning to the end in its two minute trailer. It’s directed by Andy Tennant and stars the always lovely Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. The film is about a man, a bounty hunter to be exact, who learns that his next target is his ex-wife, a reporter working on a murder cover-up that’s put her in some serious danger.
Next we have Floria Sigismondi’s biopic, The Runaways about the infamous punk band composed of a group of rebellious teenage girls living near Hollywood in the seventies. The film focuses on their rise to fame as well as the relationship with their manipulative manager Kim Fowley. The movie stars Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, and Oscar nominated actor Michael Shannon.

Films like The Bounty Hunter and Diary of a Wimpy Kid don’t stand a good chance against the two time champ, Alice in Wonderland. Another new release is Jude Law and Forest Whitaker‘s latest action flick Repo Men, which should be filled with fights, explosions, and of course bloody organs. The question is, can the Repo Men take the top spot from Alice?
