Case 39, the horror film that should have been/was supposed to be release some time ago but was put on hold despite it’s A-list cast including Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper, finally hits theaters this weekend. No one knows what exactly kept this film out of theaters but apparently it’s so scary it’s even got the actors freaked out! The film is about a social worker named Emily Jenkins (Zellweger) who tries to save a 10 year old girl from an abusive home — but she slowly starts to find out that there might be a damn good reason why all her parents want to kill her (The Ring much?)
Check out two creepy clips from the film below…

What is Case 39? It’s a thriller that stars Renee Zellweger, Bradley Cooper, Ian McShane and the newest vampire from Twilight, Jodelle Ferland. My One and Only is the quirky adventure based on, the actor, George Hamilton‘s life as a teenager. The film stars Renee Zellweger, Kevin Bacon, Chris Noth, Logan Lerman, and Mark Rendell. The best description of this film is an unusual coming-of-age tale. The characters, played by Renee Zellweger, Logan Lerman, and Mark Rendell, all grow and learn who they really are through an unusual series of events.
The story had a few funny moments, but it could have been a lot better than what it turned out to be. At times, the story was too cliched and act-y to be fully enjoyed.

British Production Company Working Title is going to be busy in the near future. Rumor has it that the third installment of the hit series Bridget Jones starring the always talented Renee Zellweger has been confirmed and they will also be developing Joe Wright’s previously announced film, Indian Summer, starring Cate Blanchett.
Zellweger will have to gain weight again in order to reprise one of the most known roles in her career as Bridget Jones, the British Publishing exec with weight issues and trouble finding love. Her character is now in her 40′s and after her engagement to Mark in the second movie, Bridget is struggling to have a baby before her biological clock ticks out. This is likely based on the weekly columns author Helen Fielding wrote in 2005 for British newspaper the Independent.

Signs of a dwindling career: doing films like New In Town. When Miss Lucy Hill (Zellweger), a ruthless executive for a Miami-based corporation is relocated to the Midwest to oversee the company’s blue-collar, Minnesota branch – you guessed it – shit hits the fan! This painfully predictable comedy (?) features Miss. Hill’s struggle to adjust to the new environment, and of course, win the heart of the sexiest hick in town, Ted (Harry Connick Jr).
