The campaign for City Council is heating up on ”Parks and Recreation“, and who better than Paul Rudd to guest star for a handful of episodes as Leslie’s dopey opponent. It was the audio/visual portion of Leslie’s campaign with the team showing off their TV production skills. Not a weak story or subplot to be found anywhere near the “Campaign Ad” episode – just great writing and acing start to finish. Rudd’s appearance only adds to the overall excellence of the show.

There was bound to be a minor – very minor – letdown on “Parks and Recreation” after last week’s A+ episode. But “Citizen Cope” still scores high marks across the board, allowing the world to get an up-close look at Leslie Knope, Private Citizen. There is also a pretty good twist at the end.

It’s the end of the world on the latest installment of “Parks and Recreation.” A local Pawnee group predicts that the end is near, so what better time for our friends in Pawnee to reflect on their own lives. Leslie loses her cool over the thought of Ben with someone else and Tom and Jean-Ralphio decide to throw the party to end all parties. The cast is in fine form and the writing first class, which means the fourth season of “Parks and Recreation” continues its comedy assault — another week and another great episode.

Andy and April decide to throw a wild Halloween party on the latest episode of “Parks and Recreation,” but roommate Ben is not exactly thrilled with the idea. Leslie is also partying it up, a special event hosted by Tom’s Entertainment 7 Twenty so she can rub elbows with local business folks.

A superb cast and top-shelf writing continues to propel the comedy juggernaut that is “Parks and Recreation”. The fourth season rolls merrily along with the episode “Born and Raised,” which continues the show’s hot start to the new TV season. “Parks” was more topical than usual this week, but tweaked perfectly for the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana, which Leslie Knope has just written a book about!
