A poster has already been printed for the upcoming concert documentary, Michael Jackson’s This is it. The film is a compilation of footage covering the singer’s last days, while rehearsing for his 2009 comeback tour. The film will hit theaters on October 28th, and will give fans the ultimate behind the scenes experience from one of the greatest performers of all time.

As we previously reported, a film centering on the late Micheal Jackson is happening. There was already a preliminary deal established last week between Jackson’s estate, Sony, and AEG Live. The next step would involve Katherine Jackson, the executor of Michael’s remaining assets to put in her two cents. According to Deadline Hollywood, everything is a go, and Sony Pictures already has a press release for the film circulating online.

We knew this was coming. Ever since the unfortunate and unexpected death of Michael Jackson there have been rumors that a feature film was in the works. According to MTV, this speculation has been confirmed as fact. Columbia Pictures has agreed to pay 60 million dollars for the rights to produce and distribute the film, which will include rehearsal footage from the artist’s comeback tour.

- Unrealitymag, came up with something really amusing. What if you take a movie character and replace that character with another movie character from the same actor? It sounds kind of confusing but the photos are definitely worth seeing. Some are really funny. Check them out for yourself and tell us what you think. (unrealitymag)
- Twilight updates for screenscrave fans!! Rotten Tomatoes has a lot of new juice from the sequel to the hit vampire love drama. They spoke with director Chris Weitz who spilled details from New Moon. - Speaking of Twilight, apparently, Warner Bros. and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way, are going to be making the Twilight Zone movie. According to Variety, they hired Rand Ravich to right the script. More details available. (Variety)

I just saw this video on Cinematical and had to show it to you guys. I have no clue why Michael Jackson would be hanging out with Brett Ratner, seeing as they never worked together, but apparently they were buddies! What’s even weirder than the couple dancing in a car (well MJ dancing, Ratner swaying) is the the voice-over added by Jackson which seems like this was meant to be added to something else. Was this a special feature on something?

What do Michael Jackson and the movie, Brüno, have in common? Well, Brüno premiered in LA on the same day the legendary pop star passed away, and there happened to be a few Jackson-related jokes in the film. In response to Jackson’s untimely death, the executives at Universal quickly decided to delete the scene from the premiere out of respect to the family.
