Another season of the Showtime hit “Dexter” has come to an end. Michael C. Michael C. Hall has established himself as the dark, brooding actor that is able to take interesting characters and not only breath life into them but take them somewhere completely new. Apparently Hall is able to get inspiration from his own life has as he admits he never thought he would look past 38 in a recent interview.
Many people think that to play a dark character you have to be a dark person or have some kind of f*cked up memories, and as we well know that’s just not true, though sometimes having a personal edge can help. The two roles Hall is most well known for Dexter in “Dexter” and David Fisher on “Six Feet Under” both have one common thread, death. Luckily he’s one of the most hopeful, morbid people out there and was able to find a way to make his dark side work for him.

It’s been revealed that the actor has been battling a form of cancer over an unspecified amount of time, according to MSNBC. A statement was released on Wednesday from Hall’s camp regarding his treatment, the type of cancer he’s been up against, and what his condition is today.
