On last night’s episode of “Glee,” McKinley High and the glee club get some new leadership when Principal Figgins and Mr. Schuster fall ill, leaving Sue to take charge of the school and a fun new substitute teacher, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, to take over glee club. Paltrow’s Holly Holliday breathes new life into New Directions, just as “The Substitute” renews the spirit of “Glee.”

The lack of developing story lines in “The Rocky Horror Glee Show” provided an open plot field for last night’s episode entitled “Never Been Kissed,” which found the New Directions crew pitted against each other in a ‘guys versus girls’ sing-off. This episode of “Glee” definitely offered up more drama and conflict than the last one- but at a cost.

When you think of Halloween, three things come to mind: candy, Halloween the movie, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It’s been 35 years since the Transylvanian musical debuted in theaters with Barry Bostwick, Susan Sarandon and Tim Curry as the leads. In honor of the anniversary the original stars as well as a few others including Jack Nicholson, Evan Rachel Wood, Julian MacMahon, Lea Michelle, and Matthew Morrison decided to participate in a Los Angeles fundraiser inspired by the film to raise money for a good cause.
