A few weeks ago the trailer for director Clint Eastwood‘s latest cinema-extravaganza Hereafter hit the internet with a number of powerful images, an interesting story and Eastwood’s recent Oscar champ Matt Damon.
Something about this poster just doesn’t capture the intensity of the trailer. Maybe it’s because Matt Damon looks so happy in this poster and his eyes are almost sparkling even though he’s supposed to be a dark tortured soul who sees death all the time. It’s almost as if the trailer and the poster are completely unrelated.

Eastwood wants your tears, it’s how he stays young. In case you thought Academy Award winning director Clint Eastwood was thinking about retiring, he’s proving that he’s not only still here, but he’s tackling yet another epic adventure and going for yet another Oscar. Written by Peter Morgan (The Queen, Frost/Nixon) and starring his favorite leading man Matt Damon, Warner Brothers has just released Eastwood’s trailer for his latest film Hereafter.
