Just like last week (and the week before that) our DVD choices are almost entirely dominated by television. This Tuesday, we take one more pass at preparing for the upcoming fall season (only three weeks until premiere week!) with another extensive selection of last season’s biggest shows.

Of course, there are a few movies hitting shelves, but Marmaduke and Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too? aren’t all that exciting.

A while ago, we brought you the cast list for the upcoming live action-animated feature Marmaduke. The popular comic strip that was based on the misadventures of a Great Dane will be brought to life with the same method used for Alvin and the Chipmunks and Garfield. According to Reuters, Owen Wilson has landed the role of the mischievous title character, and will lead the voice crew in the film.

I vaguely remember reading an article about the upcoming animated feature Marmaduke. The film is based on the popular comic strip character of the same name that was originally created by Brad Anderson. The film will be a mix of CGI and live action following in the footsteps of Alvin and the Chipmunks and Garfield. The newly announced cast features everyone from a British comedian to a Black Eye Pea, find out who’ll be behind the scenes of Marmaduke.
