With Netflix splitting its rentals between DVD and streaming – and in doing so focusing more on streaming content – we’re seeing a quicker evolution on how people watch television. The changes are such that actual televisions aren’t even necessary in the process anymore, and many rentals and movies that people own no longer exist in a physical state. TV has been in American households since the late 40′s, but what was once the cornerstone of every American household has been taking a hit from how high speed internet and companies like Apple and Netflix have changed how people can watch entertainment at home. At the 2010 Spike TV Scream Awards, the cast and creators of “Lost” are set to reunite on stage as they unveil a special farewell tribute to the show. A lot of good things came out of the six season run of “Lost” and two of them were Michael Emerson and Terry O’Quinn. The actors who played Benjamin Linus and John Locke both had their turns playing villains on the show, and they both walked away with Primetime Emmys because of it. Now that “Lost” is no more there are rumors that these two might hook up again for a new series.

Earlier this week we brought you a little piece of footage taken from the 12 minute epilogue that’s featured on the “Lost: The Complete Series” DVD set. It’s supposed to answer a good chunk of the questions that got completely ignored during the actual finale. We don’t know how but the entire epilogue has leaked onto the internet. It’s been a few months since the final episode of “Lost” aired on ABC, and as you would expect the series didn’t really give a sense of closure. Some story lines were wrapped up but a lot were just open ended mindf*cks that left us in the dark. After watching the “Lost” series finale on Sunday you probably felt one of two ways: you either loved it or loathed it! According to the comments that followed our review of the last episode a lot of you were up in arms about how Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse decided to finish off six years of mystery. Instead of giving legitimate answers, we got a sappy, all’s well that ends well resolution that a 4 year old could have come up with.

If you’re still angry about the conclusion of ABC’s “Lost” there may be hope for a REAL resolution. The network is releasing “Lost: The Complete Collection” on DVD and Blu-ray this summer and it will feature some extra footage that didn’t make the cut during the finale. According to Michael Emerson, who starred as the conniving Ben Linus on the show, he and Jorge Garcia shot a few island scenes that never made the air.
